Acting as a forum for the voices of women in PEI, the not-for-profit organization aims to provide opportunities for women to realize power, knowledge, abilities, vision and financial security. As a project-based organization, WNPEI’s funding sources are inconsistent. Even when the organization is selected to lead specific funded projects, its operational costs are never guaranteed. To address this pressing issue, the Board of Directors has been spending the summer months organizing what it hopes to be the first of an annual fundraiser. For more information about the organization and its exciting projects, please visit www.wnpei.org/.
